Line lock not working

I recently installed a line lock on my 84 El Camino and it doesn't hold the car enough to get the tires spinning. I can tell the solenoid is working because it actually puts a bind on the brakes, just not enough. I thought that maybe I hooked it up to the rear brakes on accident, but I hooked the line going to the front port of the master cylinder. Any ideas?

Maybe I'm reading this wrong, do you mean you attatched the line loc to the front port on the MC ? If so that is the rear brake line.

Yep in stock configuration the front port is for the rear brakes, and the rear port is for the front brakes. Sounds like you need to replumb it.

Thanks guys, I jacked up the rear end and hit the line lock and sure enough it locked the back brakes. I feel like an idiot. Oh well, thanks for the help again guys.
