Looking at tt2's... what specs

Looking for 17's.. how wide can I go and what backspacing/offset do I need. My car won't have the chrome fender flares on it... so I don't want the wheel to stick out pass the fender.. but not sucked in either... closer to the outer edge.... anybody got any ideas?

I've tried to search.. the search on this forum is lacking.. I keep getting stuff that has absolutely nothing to do w/that I'm searching for even if I select a certain forum it gives me results from others. I made the post looking for people who had tt2's on theirs. I searched the thread you listed but there are no pictures of how they look on the car.

I've got some used ones for sale if interested. 17x8 rears with one good 235 tire and 15" fronts with 215? tire. I can get you some pics if interested.

they are 18's but should give you an idea.....I bought a new camera a couple months ago but haven't had time to take new pics, these are about 3 years old now

18x8 and 18x10 TT2 CL205's I've done the 1LE front brakes so I am running a 4.75" backspace on front and a 5" backspace on rear, tire size right now is 245/40/18 front and 275/35/18 rear (I should have bought 275/40/18 but wasn't sure they'd fit) no frame notch yet but the 1/4 lips are rolled slightly.....eventually I plan to notch the frame, roll the lips completely, and run some 305/35's out back....I originally wanted 17's but got a deal I couldn't pass up on the 18's
