I got a question about MSD boxes does the bottom of them get hot or warm? The reason i ask is cuz i wraped what i didnt use of the coil hot and ground wheres from the back and the ground wire for the box under the box and just wanna make sure it not gonna melt.

They can get warm, but if placed somewhere where it gets ventilation, it should never get that hot.
i got it goin bhind my glove back its mounted to the a/c block off plate. i made up a like stand so i could mount my coil and my box and all the relays to it. Think it should b fine where its at. Heres some pics of what i made up to mount everythin.
Thanks man. its all out of stainless steel. Its nice to b able to get ahold of self layin around the shop lol.Im gonna remake the top plate where everythin is mounted out of alumunim later on cuz the stainless one got some weight to it. That and i have to remake the a/c block off out of a lil heavy gauge metal that way i can weld it solid to my firewall.I should have some pics of it mounted by next weekend so ill post them up so u can c how it fits in the car.
