my upper rad hose clamp has ground?????

Yup, i was poking around with the test light the other day checking some grounds, just happened to "brush" against the clamp and.. light!!! :-k I didn't believe it at first, but it's in no obvious way in direct contact with any other metal. I showed the one tech at my work, i thought his head was going to explode confused_swirl.gif
Anybody care to make some explanations up?

My guess is the clamp's too tight & it cut through to the copper on the radiator.

x2, and I'm betting it's static electricity, not grounded.

The carbon in the rubber is conducting power. It's one way to tell if the clamp is tight. loosen the clamp and the light goes out.
