what was done to the upper arms to get them to fit? If you look in the general section under my post of some progress there is a good pic of the iceman uppers installed. I have seen people shorten the stock ones and force them in but there is no way those don't bind like crazy. If anything I would box the stock lowers and get the swap uppers.

Wow, you are absolutely right. My son told me the uppers did look shorter. And we noticed when we dropped the rear on the wagon, it came way down. The springs just about fell out on their own.

But on the Malibu, the rear end barely moved. We had to pry the springs out. Even with the lower control arms disconnected. My question is, does anyone make uppers that are not adjustable? I am looking for something I can just take and bolt in without having to go to a chassis shop to have the pinion angle set on the wagon. Once the 12 bolt is in.

All you need to set the pinion angle is a harbor freight driveline angle protractor.

I paid about $6 for mine at the local harbor freight equivalent in Canada.

Plus I used it to level up my fridge when I was done using it on the car, so it was win-win.
