ok... i have a 79 malibu, 7.5in rear, stock rear suspension, weld prostars, i think the rims are 8in wide. not for sure. the used tires on it now rub.....WHAT IS THE BIGGEST TIRE SIZE I CAN RUN ON THE REAR????

I think the tallest is the 275/60/15. I run 295/50/15 with a 8 inch ralley on my 81 malibu But you might have to trim or roll the quarter panel lip.

cool, i want as wide as possible with no frame modification. rollin the lip is no problem.

275-60-15 tire on a 8" rally and 4" BS fits perfect on a stock ride height.
