New N90 wheels going out for paint

I'm dropping off my new Year One 17" N90 wheels for the repaint @ Wheel Collision Center this Saturday. Hopefully I'll have them back in a week or so. I'll post pictures when I get them home. I might even get the tires & have everything on Madge for the pictures!

We'll see how the wheels come out. They didn't have a color code for 80 Z28, so I pickied a color code from a GM wheel paint chip book. It's called Gold Sparkle & came on the 86 Astro Van 20 spoke alloy wheels. It looks like it's very close, & I figured it's a GM color, so how far off can it be?

I posted some low grade pics on "What did you do to your G-body today?" under General Discussion. Anyway, I found the correct GM color code so they came out exactly as I pictured them. Better photos to come...

saw them over on the other thread. They look really good! Makes me want some for my Monte Carlo. And your car looks like a nice project, I think this is the first time I have seen a pic of it.

Pics have been around, but not frequently. Things change on this project so slowly that I don't post many pictures. I was lucky enough to get almost a full 1/2 page in Popular Hot Rodding's Reader's Projects issue last year.
