I know I just sat there and looked at it, when I push the rotor all the way on it sits perfect to where the old ones did not to close to the backing plate, This has me stumped
Lay the old rotor down on the floor next to the new rotor, measure up through the middle to the outer race on each. Is it the same? Sounds to me like you got the wrong rotors.

but from them sitting on the bench side by side they look to be the same height to the naked eye.
Outer dimension isn't what you are looking for, but the dimension inside where the spindle rides. So, measure up through the center to the outer race and see if it is the same on both. They can look the same but the races can be different, which will cause an issue with where they ride on the spindle.
There not the same, new ones 3 inches bang on the old ones are smaller :evil:
I guess I have 78 rotors and need a new set...ya for being broke guess my old ones go back on for now until I can afford new ones.

Clean up the new ones you bought and return them for the ones you need and pay what little difference there might be. Heck, sometimes you get money back... 8)
