So my 4dr is a very much budget build like no other if i can save 10cents on something i go for it.But anyways this year i wont have enough to get it painted. So i am trying to find something to use that wont rust it is a daily driver right now that's very cheap. Also have never used a spray gun am a master at spray can but never a real paint gun. Any tips on anything? Step by steps or good spray paint to use if it will hood against elements. Was thinking of rustOleum gray paint?

If ya stick with matte or flat finish the rattle cans look good imo.
The rustoleum professional in the silver cans are the easiest to lay on by far

I am thinking of trying the understated $50 dollar paint job but the roller idea seems pretty good plus with spray i would have to do it outside and spray cans cost alot, anyone know how to do the roller job? Found alot out there making sure i know what am getting myself into

Cheap spray gun and some flat black or Blitz black. just remember DONT lay it down heavy, many light coats makes for a MUCH better job. I would anticipate 4 light coats of blitz black would do nicely :D Withing minutes you'll kinda have a "feel" for a spray gun, only two adjustments on it. Think of it as a carb, idle setting=air flow, and volume=mixture. HTH BTW a cheap spray gun is only about $55. Got my first one at Home Depot or Lowe's and still works awesome.
