parachute mounting pictures

the shop that did mine didnt understand what I wanted and made the mount removable and the tether part non-removable and after it was done had to change it so the tether part was also removable. So if I did it over the mount would be on the tether part outside the car and the whole thing would remove as 1 piece.
One half inch bolt under the car behind the bumper and the whole outside chute mount can slide out/off.
I also welded a sleeve inside the chute mount so it wouldn't crush or oval the tubing as the bolt was tightened down.

I think your question has not been answered (yet). You want to mount the parachute and still be able to see the license plate? I think you would have to mount the parachute so it sits eye level over the license plate.
^^^^^it wont happen.. mount the chute under the tag and it's worthless and probably just fall and drag the ground. Mount it too high and it'd just look plain retarded

I have a Shroud Pilot Chute,that I am going to install on my 85' Grand Prix G-Body car.Does anyone have pics of the underside,how the frame work was made,where they connected it to and with size thickness of metal? I need to see how ya all are doing them as I have seen a ton of g body's on a "show us your g body" race car" I have PM ones that look like what I want and still have no pics yet ](*,) .Thanks to you in advance for any pics or guidance on this part of my build.I know the car will need it,for the class it will be in and Speed it will reach in 1/4mile rules says what 150 ?mph.
