He might ? I have run 295`s on my 8-inch rally wheels for over ten years and havent had any problems with the center wearing out. I run them with 32 psi.

Most tire specs list at least an 8" wheel. I have bout 34-35lbs and dont seem to buldge to bad. Havta wait for a couple burnouts and see what kind of patch it leaves.
