Is it a 12.7:1 ratio box?

Yes I do belive it is a 12.7:1 it is casted with a big Z on the box. Yes the stock shaft will work, update to the 94 zj shaft as well this eliminates the rag joint feeling

The "Z" is an "S" and is the logo for Saginaw Steering Gear Division. It looks like a curvy road.

Yes, we are. I don't know what the significance is of the Z in the casting, but it exists in images of Saginaw power steering boxes of different applications.
