Re: anti roll bar

Placement of the tabs on the housing isn't critical. You can put them wherever they need to be. You just wanna make sure they land directly under the arms. A good way to figure out if they should be on the front, top, or back of the housing is to just put them wherever they make the vertical link bars vertical. You don't really want the vertical links leaning to the front or back, try to get them perfectly vertical. Wherever they end up vertical is where you should put your tabs on the housing.

This topic seems to be coming up more and more, so I've moved this thread to the Suspension forum and made it a sticky. Post up your anti roll bar pics!

so how hard is it to install one and how makes the best one. I was thinking of a sway bar but this might be better yet.

Some class rules require stock suspension mounting points. Lee

I'm also interested if anyone is running tailpipes with an ARB. Or is this counterproductive because wheelies would just crush your tails.

I'm currently working on the frame notch and haven't figured out a configuration that will let me run 3" OTA pypes with the ARB.

Pics would be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys Im having trouble fitting the trz bar with my coilover crossbar, any thoughts, the anti roll crossbar comes real close to the upper arms but it seems from the piks that alot are real close.....guess the control arms do not move up that much once the springs are set, any thoughts out there, thanks

If your car is set up properly, your control arms won't move up at all short of running over a bump, etc. During the run, they will drop slightly as the rear end lifts the frame and gives the back end its separation.

Is it good to take your links loose while street driving?
