Proportioning Valve Position

Does it matter where the prop. valve is located? Would like to move it up near the master cylinder (like earlier GMs) from the stock frame location. Disc/Drum setup.

That will work fine. Doesnt matter where it goes as long as it's hooked up correctly.

Many of the aftermarket brake upgrade kits have the combo valve mounted on a bracket just below the master cylinder. It's just fine that way.
