i am building a motor to hold a 200 shot and i was told i should get a forged steel crank instead of a cast steel because it will remain stronger under tougher conditions. i know a 200 shot isnt an insane amount of nos so will it make enough of a difference to spend the extra money?

thanks

I'm not running nos yet but I built my bbc to handle it. All forged. It (might) cost a bit more to do it now but if you don't it (will )cost you more later.
What i'm trying to say is as your building it you want to use a 200 shot but next year you might want to use a 400 shot, so why not build it to handle the 400 shot .It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.Just my opinion
