was thinking of installing one what would be used for the remote wire in newer cars i have used the power antenna wire can it just go to a 12v ignition wire ?? thanks

no power ant or remote wire is 12 v power out to turn on your amp or run up a power antenna if you run 12 v in on that wire get ready to buy a new head unit.

yes just use an igntion switched out...... but the amp will stay on it you turn the head unit off while driving...
