trying to find a place to weld the brake caliper bracket on a narrowed rearend. tried on top of the housing but it looks like the frame will hit the caliper when springs are compressed, I don't have the axles in yet to be sure. all I know for sure is the bleeders are to be pointed up. the best place seems to be on the bottom of the housing but I have never seen that done, is there a problem with it. thanks in advance...wannabe

Stock ride height or lowered? Mines at stock ride height, and I have my caliper at the 2:30 position on the drivers side
Sorry for the thread jack but, you mean to tell me that the aftermarket still hasnt come up with a true bolt-on setup for the 8.5 rear disc swap? Thats unbelievable! i've been sitting on a complete rear disc steup from a 97' f-body for the past 4 years just patiently waiting on someone to come up with the ultimate bolt-on setup.
