what car can we steal a rear disc setup off thats a simple remove and replace?

I had a 9" setup to take a GM small car brake. I used the drum brakes off my 1971 Nova and 12" brakes off a 4th Gen F-body.

Since you have 18's on the back...I'd swap over the 4th-Gen F-body brakes. 12", parts readily available from a parts house...and if you shop you can pick up the back pair for under $400. They're a direct bolt on. Just need a fitting to convert the line on the back to the metric crap on the malibu.

16's or grind the crap out of the caliper to fit a 15".

The fronts you can do the b-body swap. You can do the ZQ8 swap, or if you're a balla, do the C5 swap

Yes...front hubs from 98+ Blazer ZQ8. I've heard good and bad about it. I personally like the idea.

I think at some point ShanaJustin had actually worked out a larger 3rd gen Camaro brake swap using parts from O'reilys but it's been so long I don't remember exactly what all was involved in that particular swap.

I believe Lokar now has an e-brake setup for the rear 4th Gen brakes. I know there is a solution available though. RatMalibu would know specifics.
