Rear End Questions????

Questions?? I just bought a Monte SS it has a 12 Bolt in it that measures 57" from backing plate to backing plate. 1st. Question is whats the biggest rim i can put on the car and i am looking to run a true 10" slick if possible and want it tucked under 1/4. It does NOT have frame notched or mini tubed. The rim that's on it now sticks out and looks retarded look at pics. BS on rim that's on it is like 4" or 4 1/4.. If anyone can help i tried a 6" BS with a 10.5 slick tire hits frame and wheel doesn't go all the way on.. Thinking maybe a 5" or 5.5 BS but wanted to no what you all thought.

2nd Question car has SSM upper and lowers on it Non-adjustable and rear end sits to far back look at pic. What do you recommend. Thanks here's some pics..








PS... That hood that's on it will be For Sale Looking for a 4" or 6" bolt on will trade hoods also.. Thanks

im not sure what the width of mine is but it came out of a 66 chevelle and i have a 15x8 rim with 5.5 b/s.

Can you please measure it for me?? Backing plate to backing plate.. mine is 57" I think mine is out of a chevelle too just not sure what year it is. I just bought this car.

stock width is 52.5 from bp-bp, i believe. you'll need 5.5 b/s rims for sure with the extra 2.25" per side.
