Removing the Intake and Dist.??

So...where did you find the lost bolt/nut?

Once I got the intake off the nut was sitting on one of the valves in the #4 cylinder. Went pretty smooth. Really had to be patient to get the Dist. to drop back in the right spot but eventually it did. I had to change the oil because some coolant got mixed in. I havent fired the engine yet cause I dont have a working carb yet. Trying to find someone to rebuild my q-jet in my area. Thanks for all the help everyone gave.

Ditch the Quadrabog. Get a holley carb if you can. :mrgreen:

You know I have no issues with that idea but I can rebuild the Quadrajet for less than i can buy a holley that I know will be reliable! Often wanted a holley or something other than the quadrajet but it just hasnt happened
