Matty,
Good to hear from you again my friend. It looks like you have your work cut out for you, but the way I look at it, as long as you have your health and willingness to get 'er done, the more power to you.
You can't go wrong with a nice 2-dr Malibu body. You certainly can't find them like you used to...I guess you can say the same for 4-drs as well. Your old green machine was a cool car. Probably one of my favorite 4-dr Malibus. It had the right sleeper look to it. Hope you and your family are doing well and enjoying life.
Ah, snow. I remember those days. I can't say I miss them.

Back to working the Malibu,, removed the front windshield and found more rust,, of course.
Got one small patch panel 85% done,, time to start cutting out the rust and weld in new metal.

Well back at it, warm 45 degree day in central Ohio, good enough to open the garage door and do some welding.
Got the metal welded in below the wiper motor bracket,, I am not going to detail the area because it will be covered with seam sealer and hard to see once completed. 2 down and two to go,,
Last thing to do is to install the wiper motor and hot wire it to make sure all of the linkage won't bind,
Thanks, Matty man

90% done with the firewall repairs, getting ready to start with the floor pan. Waiting on a one piece floor pan to come in. I will try to keep count on how many spot welds I have to remove. Removing the spot welds tomorrow for the outer seat brackets then cut out the floor. Thanks!! Matty man

Well the floor pans have been stamped out and are sitting in Taiwan waiting for a ride to the states, I was told it would be a few weeks when I ordered the pan,, if it is here by May I will be surprised. If I would of know that I wouldn`t have ordered it. No one has a one piece floor pan in stock,, so I wait,, time to put the quarter panels on my 83 Camino,, I have those already,, new post in a week or so.
