OK So I just bought a set of 16" american racing rims off of a guy that used to be on an s-10. I have to get at least 2 new tire due to the fact that the front tires hit my front lower spoiler. Yes they are still truck tires 225/75/16 and 265/70/16, but the 265 looks pretty cool in the rear, a little tight since my body is shifted a little on my frame rails. The fronts will fit in the rear, but look way tall and skinny. Anybody runnin 16 not lowered and have a combo they used? [-o<

OK so I took her out for a spin and the wider tires rub bad. Oh well I only gave 50 for them so no big loss if I have to reskin them

 OK so I found out that they are the "Atlas" line and it looks like they were the polished alloy, but need re buffed, but I think I like them grey. Anybody running a 225/60(or so)/16 on the front? :-s

I used to run a 215/60/16 on the front with a 4.5(maybe 4in) backspace rim. It had v6 springs with a small block in it. No problems at all.

Now I have 235/50/17 on 17x8's with 4.5 backspace all the way around.

:-k Any rubbing issues in the front with the 17's at full lock?

Yep, but I think it is only because the front is so low. This should give you an idea of how low it is. V6 springs that I cut 1 1/2 or so coils out of. By the way the springs were not cut when I was running the 16's either.

Looks like they're silver painted from the picture.

They kinda look like it, but when you get up on them it really just looks like they are oxidized and need a good buffin.
