Getting the Weiand 177 anyone got some pics of it under the hood? Will it fit with a 4 core.... and how do you like it?

whats the diff between the 142 and the 177? size, power, hood... i was guessing just go with the bigger one for a start?!

The numbers refer to how many ci of air they push per revolution. You should be able to get more boost out of the 177. Neither one will fit under a stock hood. These superchargers are probably the least efficient ones out there. If you are serious about doing this you might want to also consider the 122 from magnacharger. And i highly recommend forged pistons. I'm running cast everything right now, but i have broken a lot of ring lands off, starting to run out of extra pistons.

My buddy has one on top of a 434 sbc. It definitely moves out...Mid 10 second car.
