SPC PERFORMANCE Upper A-Arms, too long? even fully shorted

ok so i bought a set of upper tubular control arms off a member on this site, they are spc performance. i put them on, they are adjusted so they are all the way in short as they will go, and they are way too long. the front of my tires, the top, stock out further then the bottom looks real stupid.

am i doin something wrong, are these the wrong control arms. they are made for 78-88 gbody.

Are you running stock spindles on your car? Looks like they have a stock and a tall spindle option for their upper arms. You might want to double check with the seller and see what he had on his car.
