SPS-94330 and SPS-94331 Arms, you can tell by pictures what im talking about. They seem too long and the top of the tires are c*ck-eyed. I mocked up the stock control arm to show you the difference, can i turn the plate upside down so instead of the angle down its going up maybe it will straight out, since the stock one looks like its angled upwards a little. I put all the shims in and i only have about 1/2" left on the stud i think i need more of a stud to put more shims in. If anyone has run into this problem or knows a solution please enlighten me. Im stuck and would like to get this fixed this weekend.

if you see the picture with the stock control arm, it looks about 3/4-1" shorter then the tubular ones so i would need alot of shims is that safe an inch worth of shims? any other options? i mean there is a 20 angle on the tubular ones to and the stock ones look straight so im not sure.

help please, haha

The ball joint plate looks like it is upside down, or they are for a tall spindle. The angle of the ball joint is completely different from the stock arms. I don't see why you couldnt at least try to flip that plate and see how it works, it is easy since you have the motor in the car, and the car on the ground.

According to the directions:
http://static.summitracing.com/global/images/instructions/sps-94330.pdf

you have it installed on the wrong side. The long sleeve and welded stud should be towards the front.

the control arms are on the right side because if i switch them, the ball joint is off more then an inch(but read note below) from the spindle and wont line up.. im THINKING ill have to take off the midplate turn it upside down and turn the ball joint upside down, i dont know why they would be like that in the first place but we will see how it works. but if i switch it around and the midplate is toward the sky then the welded stud will be towards the front of the car and it may be the solution!

is it unsafe for the 20degree midplate be in the upwards position?

Note - When installing the Upper Control Arm:The longer adjusting sleeve assembly is always placed toward the front of the vehicle, and the welded stud on the 20° plate also is always towards the front of the vehicle.

Yeah it does seem like the long arm has to be towards the front of the vehicle and i have the short one there. ill call them tomorrow.
