Sterter fuseible link replacement

I was rewiring my underhood last night and I am running a remote solenoid on the firewall I noticed the starter fuseible links were toast an some genius soldered wire in top of the mess ...Question is where can I find fuseible link or does anyone else have any other suggestions or pics?Has anyone had to replace them ?Thanks Sal

I wouldn't be too concerned with replacing the links, I had to replace two of mine (did all 3 connections though, I believe there are 4 originally), used regular 10ga. wire, and routed it directly to the battery, away from the heat of the manifolds/headers.

just go to Napa, Advance, where ever and get a fusible link. I usually solder mine back in.

Guess I should note that there is a slight risk involved if you don't have something in place of the links. If I hadn't replaced mine while the car was on the side of the road, I would have wired in some 30A fuses to each run.
