Ive been dealing with the driveshaft deal for the last two weeks...Muscle is not too far from me so I talked to them first. They can lengthen one of theirs for $225 thats a 4" with a TH400 yoke and USED 1350 Joints, Its a used NASCAR shaft and are in good shape. But I would want new U-joints and I have a TH350 so I would have to get a different yoke then have it rebalanced...so heres what I did, the driveshaft shop in Salisbury NC www.driveshaftshop.com all said and done its $300 bucks...NEW forged yoke new 1350 joints I went with a 3.5" steel shaft rated @ around 900HP witha critical speed of around 8700 RPM talk to Frank hes the owner!!!

So if you take a stocker driveshaft and change the ujoints with brute force ones, the only thing you have to worry about is actually twisting the driveshaft right? What else could go wrong if the ujoints don't fail?
