Stock Rally Wheels

Hey guys, I know this sounds stupid but here goes, Has anyone ever tried mounting stock rally wheels (15x7) on a 79 without any rubbing issues? I put mine on thinking they would be the same as the stock 15 inch wheels, but they rub up front and they seem really close to the upper control arm. Im thinking spacers but theres not much of a stud on these..Any help would be definatly appreciated.....Matty

mine fit fine 15x7 w/235/60/15 front and 255/60/15 rear, no rubbage, close but no rub.

I have 15X8 w/4" BS along with 215/65/15 tires and the tie rod end is about 1/4"-5/16" away from the rim lip and NO rubbing anywhere. (normal ride height with 6 cyl springs and a V8 ) :lol:
