trans lines

Anyone use AN lines from the trans to the cooler?? if so, what size fitting is on the trans? kinda hard to physically check from thailand :roll:

After a little searching, th350 and 400 transmissions are 1/4 in. NPSM straight thread NOT NPT tapered thread. If you use a NPT thread it can crack the case!

For a direct bolt inyou can use these for -6 hose @ 30$ :shock:

They are indeed a straight thread. Some people tap it for NPT, but I wouldn't trust myself to do it.

Since I am running a 350th what would be the best line to run, I was thinking a -6 line for the transmission to cooler. What all are you running for size?

i run -6 with the adapter fittings that screw into the fittings already in the trans.

im going to hook up my cooler today. im going to use tubing lines with the thought that it will disipate heat better than rubber. just sometthing to think about

ive had two TH350's, both of which are pipe thread..at least i thought so lol
