Welds or Ralleys?????

Ok guys. I just bought 4 new tires. MT ET Street drag radial 275/50-15s and MT Sportsman 26x7.5-15 8plys. I am stuck on trying to decide which wheels to get. Weld Prostars which I really like or save money and buy Wheel Vintiques Ralleys. If I go Ralleys I will use the savings to buy Schoenfeld 1 3/4" headers and run new exhaust. Currently have small primary shorties with 2 1/2" collectors and 2 1/4" exhaust to Flowmaster Hushpower mufflers dumped in front of axle. At the bends the exhaust is prob 2" at best. Will prob go to Pypes 2 1/2" X and Ultraflows dumped at the rear.

Motor is a 10.5 to 1 383 with Comp 530ish solid, Edelbrock RPM alum. heads port matched(1205) to a Vic Jr, Mighty Demon annular 750. TH350 with TCI 10" 3000-3400 to a 9" w/ 373s adjustable uppers and lowers.

So with all that said.

Option 1 is keep the crappy headers and exhaust for a while longer and get 15x8 Prostars w/3.5" backspacing for rear and 15x4 in the front.

Option 2 is Ralleys 15x8 w/4" backspacing rears and 15x4 fronts and 1 3/4" Schoenfelds and new exhaust.

I like the Ralleys but not quite as much as the Prostars so in your "expert" opinions are the gains in new headers and exhaust worth going with my 2nd choice in rims?

Here are my current headers.

And my current wheels. Like new but not my choice of rims. 15x10 w/3" backspacing and 15x8 w/4" backspacing.

Here's what I would do.

1. Buy the exhaust
2. Use left over money to buy however many weld prostars you can afford.
3. Live with your current tire / wheel combo for a little while longer.
4. Save money until you have enough to buy the remaining weld prostars
5. Mount new tires to the 4 prostars.

You'll get the benefit of better exhaust AND lighter wheels.

Of course - it's just my opinion.

Nope. Still got the old wheels and tires but the new ones are awesome.

did you stay with a ten on the back? Same backspacing? Wheres those pics? Prostars are always the answer. Just my opinion.
