What is this wire supposed to go to?

The single green wire wit hthe black connector is the A/C high idle solenoid. The vacuume switch on the driver's fender is the converter lockup switch. It also has diagnostic port. that's what the extra connector is for.

If you mean it has an intermittant high idle after it's fully warmed up, it may be so. If that wire is still hooked up to the idle solenoid & your compressor has been removed, your idle will increase when you have the heating controls set for A/C or Defrost.
