I was an idiot and took off my stock proportioning valve, now I want to put a better one on.
I wasn't sure which one to get. I am going to be running disc brakes in the rear very soon, so i figured its time to upgrade. I went on summits site and saw this
http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=SSB%2DA0730&N=700+4294922533+4294918719+4294918718+115&autoview=sku

i wasn't sure if it will mount up in the stock places or not. Is there a better product out there? or what would you recommend??
Thanks.

Master Power Brakes sells a disc/disc combo valve that bolts into the stock location. It's not advisable to use a disc disc valve with a disc/drum system. The pressures needed for discs are higher than drums & you may have rear lock up problems. The metering is different, too, so you may have front lock up or at the very least nose dive & excessive front pad wear.

I ended up ordering the one from summit, the link is in my first post. I hope thats not the wrong one. it says its fully adjustable, so i could run drums for now with it and then put disc on and adjust it for them.
Its expensive, but I hope does the job. Did i make a wrong decision???

If you're going to make the switch to 4 wheel discs really soon, you didn't make a "wrong" decicsion. That unit is fine, but keep in mind it's not a combination valve. It's just a distribution block & proportioning valve with a built in adjustable bias valve. It doesn't perform any metering function, so until you get rear discs, the front brakes may lock up before the rear drums can catch up.
