60 is the height of sidewall in relation to the width.

+1 with a 4" BS, I have rolled fenderwell lips just for the heck of it to give more piece of mind.
(passenger side view of car in my signature is the 275/60/15's)

I just tried my sons 275/60/15 Drag Radials mounted on a set on 15x10 wheels with a back space of 5" and I have about 1" of clearance between the tire side wall and the frame which is not notched

Looks good, but for driving anywhere else but the dragstrip or perfectly flat streets and driveways you will rub and possibly chew up the outer sidewalls. Heck, even hard acceleration would even give the outer sidewalls a run for their money if your rear squats like mine and others.
