they couldn't have been 245/40's Phil I know that much..thats the size that I run on the front of my car, I didn't want to make my recon to obvious or I would have gotten out and got the size, I got close enough in my wifes car to make out the 18 at the end and then I unassed the area lol

I can find a level spot and take a closer picture of the front for you if you'd like me to if it would help you decide.....

truthfully Phil I think they would look good on your car since you still have all the OEM chrome on it.....they would not however do so well on a monochromatic car like mine lol

If you are building the car for street and strip I would go with 17s as you have a better drag radial choice for the track however if you are not going to drag the car then I would consider a staggered combo of 17s fron and wider 18s in the back. That would look great especially with the stance you car has with those springs. Seems lower in the back... My car has 17s all around. 17x7 front and 17x10 rear with hotchkis lowering springs.

Re: Interior Update - 3/20/10

I posted from my Blackberry, for some reason, it didn't work right??

Anyway, I said that I think you're right as far as chrome wheels looking good on our Malibu with the chrome bumpers, wheel trim, etc.

No need to take more pictures, but I don't mind looking at pictures of your car anytime. One of my favorites!

Re: Interior Update - 3/20/10

Hey, something to try for the wrinkles on the back seat!! First steam them with an iron set for steam dont hit the cloth if it's set realy high, after that apply heat such as hair dryer/heat gun etc. I built seats for Chrysler and this is the method used to remove the wrinkles there. Clothes shrink in a dryer, therefor the material on a seat will draw up as well! Just a thought!!

The stance of the car looks great Phil. I think I may go an inch higher then that though.

Dang! That looks good! Me, I'd drive it like that, but I do like the 17/18 wheels, too.

Wish any of my stuff looked that good  (note to self: kick your own butt for selling the coupe)

Cool, thanks. Were the tires smaller than 245/40/18's? What do you think Matt, are those too much bling?

After seeing that, I feel better about the 18's, especially if it was lowered like I have ours now. Here's a shot of ours with the Moog 5413 rear springs and Moog 5658 front springs:

Did you ever get the new tires on?

I was wondering what they looked like with the 5413's installed.

I have to get some lower springs in the rear myself.

No, my son said he liked the ones on there. So, that's what we kept on there.
