I agree with him to an extent. The BB blower cars are hard to deal with in radial too. With that said though, I feel guys are figuring out how to make the turbo's work in the 1st 330 now. I still don't think they can run with a screw blower in large tire racing but for small tire stuff, the turbo can get it done.

Just last weekend. A turbo mustang on stock suspension and 325/50 radials went 1.16 and 1.18 to the 60 foot. That's something even a blower car can't say, even the n2o guys have trouble matching that.

Terry Elam. He has the 2003 yellow cobra clone with the single in the nose. Went 1.16 then 4.85 at 150 with the 94mm. He then turned around, went 1.18 but it carried the tires so far out it drifted to the right and he had to lift so he couldn't back it up. The car goes 1.22-1.23 every pass though.

Hey guys had to bring this post back from the dead.Brad Personnett ran i think153 mph couple weeks ago at a nhra event. He runs a 68 camaro owned by precision turbo and sponsored by big stuff 3.Look up some video of that car and you will see a turbo car that works and is getting better every day.I have a good friend that builds turbos there and i have met brad and his dad/crewcheif so i watch this car closely.Check out some video on this car from the us nationals this year or the races after that.
