its came factory with and automatic. I'm still debating to go 5speed or 200r4 behind the 454.

There are stronger 5 speeds to choose from. Have you considered something other than a T5?

If you still have your heart set on a T5, you can buy a full replacement gear set for about $1300 that should live behind a big block.
