What did U do to your G-body today??

Post by HP JUNKEY » Sun Jun 27, 2010 6:23 pm

Hey guys, I would like to start an ongoing thread, called "what did U do to your G-body today" if it has not been done already and has the approval of "management"

I will start it by saying we, {my son and I} pulled the Olds motor and tranny out of his Cutlass, he blew a head gasket, water in the oil, so we yanked it today, and now the cleaning and prep work begins for the "new" 327 and TH350 he built in school. I took a bunch of pics but will post them tomorrow from my work computer that is much better than this one.
SOOOOOOO, what did U do to your G-body today?.......................................

Cleaned up some wiring and stuff under the hood. Played with the tune a bit. Put some silicone on two oil pan bolts since I apparently have a leak coming from at least one of them.

Tweaked the 4 corner idle a little. Stared at it. Looked at it again.

Raced It!! Went five rounds. Lost on a .044 red in the quarterfinals. $8000 payout race day, only paid to the semis. Was one the last seven racers in Pro Bracket out of 110 or so cars. Won two VERY tight races and took out the guy who was 4th in points and track champion several times previously.
