Autometer Speedometer

Post by 80bu » Fri Jan 31, 2014 6:25 pm

I am taking out the factory gauge cluster and putting in autometer tach, speedo and fuel level gauge. Do I need the sender from autometer to hook up my speedo? What wire do I use for the fuel level gauge and do I need a sender for this? Also which wire's do I use for the turn signals? I am running a ls1 with a t56 out of a 2002 Camaro. Where do I get the sppedo signal from the harness?

Thanks for the help!

I assume you are using the factory 02 ecm and harness? You can access ecm pinouts to determine the wires you need for your tach and speedo on lt1swap.com. The stock ecm does have a speeo and tach output. As far as the turn signals, you will have to splice into your original cluster harness for these wires. You may check the wiring diagrams in the tech section.
