qp 9" shock mounting issues

I got my QP 9" housing put in, and the shock mounting is all jacked up. the bolts go in way at the wrong angle, and the bushing is deflected while just sitting there. Pinion angle is way negative right now, and I'll get that fixed up, and it'll place the shocks at a bit of a better angle, but it won't be enough to make the bushings happy. What's everyone doing for shock mounting on these?

There is a steel sleeve inside that shock rubber and the spacers are made of aluminum. if you look close there is a steel washer beetween the shock and the aluminum to stop the sleeve in the shock from digging into the aluminum. the spacer on the inside of the bracket is needed to keep the bolt straight when tightened.

This is what I'm going to use.....87-93-Mustang-Rear-Lower-Shock-Mounts....got the idea from a previous thread on this problem:

I don't have the rear under the car yet.........so no pictures. Seemed like a good solution to the problem.

Made them bro...very simple. One piece of aluminum then just mark it on the angle you want. Cut it in half and there are the two pieces for the one side.
