qp 9" shock mounting issues

I bought my QP 9" second hand so I just dealt with the problem and didnt contact them.

It would be interesting to hear exactly what QP says. Do they deny the problem? Offer any solution at all?

Does anyone have a link to the earlier posts discussing this shock problem? I must not be using the correct 'search' terms, because I can't find it/them.

I apologize for never getting around to updating the thread with pictures of the spacers installed.......

........the angle isn't perfect, but a heckuva lot better than it was. An inexpensive solution to THEIR problem.

Bill, it looks like you could use another wedge in place of those washers to make sure the bolt is perpendicular to the shock bushing.

Nope.........tried it, another wedge is too much. What Slimbo did is perfect, but this works for now.

Someone here has a pic of one installed.

That will cause binding. here is what i did.

You should make some of these like you did bearing seal sleeves!
