I'm running the old TH350 transmission behind a my 350. I have an good older 11" converter that I could send in for a full rebuild and get it custom spec'd to stall at 2500. But tcsperformance (who makes those awesome torque converters for the 200R4 very popular with the turbobuick community) out of CA has a relatively nicely priced 10" unit that he can custom stall to 2500 on the tight side and as a plus it has a billet machined front side cover for the engine and I don't have to send in my old 11" core. I know the 11" in theory should have more torque multiplication, but there haven't been no advances to the old 11" converters in years, but there have been advances in the 10" world and the TCS guys are always updating their stuff. Currently I'm running a 12" converter that stalls at 2500 that's a b&m model and want a nicer converter that is more efficient but still has very good street manners. The personal experience input of others is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
