    Cam?

Just make sure the rest of your drivetrain will match the cam you have, at least vaguely. If you have a stock converter and highway gears with something like a TH350 and a 230º+/.525"+ cam, it'll be doggy out of the hole.

Everyone post your wheel and tire combo.

I like the ductwork knuckledragger, however outta place it looks  Looks very trans-am-ish :D

I have an XE268H with my 9:1 350 w/ Vortec heads, and I'm quite happy with it :D

Wrecked LS1 T56 Z28 - what do you think? Look..!

Realistically he wouldn't even need the radiator/accessories if it's only going to run for a couple minutes, just make sure there is oil and enough juice to run the computer.

Malibu just died while idling in my driveway... (Solved!)

Re: Malibu just died while idling in my driveway... The dots are fine. The cam rotates once for every two rotations of the crank... meaning you can turn the crank 360º and they'll be lined up at 12 & 6-o'clock. Before you actually open up the motor, you can likely run a compression test on...

    '92 4L60... SOLVED!

Re: '92 4L60... So everything's apart... I took the solenoid/harness out, and it seems to be working, I just have to tap on it for it to open back up (not sure if that's normal with it outside the trans). On the up side the filter didn't look too bad, there was a very little bit of material...

Malibu just died while idling in my driveway... (Solved!)

Re: Malibu just died while idling in my driveway... If you have a tach connected also make sure the wire coming from the tach terminal on the distributor cap isn't grounded. I chased that gremlin for a couple days... the car would randomly start and run fine, then occasionally sputter, and...

    Possible driveshaft issues

Is that one of those clutches that has different materials on each side?

    '92 4L60... SOLVED!

Re: '92 4L60... Bugger... So I finally got around to tracking down my non-lockup issue. I have 12v down to the plug on the harness, but the circuit inside the trans is open ](*,) So it looks like I'll be replacing the solenoid (possibly the harness, or part of it) when I change the...

    Possible driveshaft issues

I've never really looked into this myself until now. Looks like diaphragm is the most common to the street (& easiest on your leg), the other two (Borg & Beck and Long) are more performance-oriented, and have the capability of 'centrifugal assist', where it applies more clamping force with...

    putting a T5 into a G body

I guess I'm a little old school... I like the mech. linkage setup, no need to worry about master/slave cylinders failing, plus there enough ways of swapping a manual trans in that it can even be used with an LS motor and a T56 :D

    Possible driveshaft issues

Kinda makes me wonder about the pressure plate or flywheel as well. If it barely vibrates when it's at one spot, but worse at another, my mind tells me there may be an imbalance somewhere else as well, that either compounds the vibration or eliminates it. My thoughts go with the disc itself or...

    7.5 rear end

Yeah, that's pushing it even for a built 7.5. You could probably swing it with street tires, but soon as you put some sticky ones on there, it's only a matter of time.

Lakewood Bellhousing/ clutch fork for Super T-10

I felt the same way you did when I about tore up my flywheel because I wired a Ford solenoid wrong. It lasted a day or two, but I got through it, been drivin' the 'Bu since ;) I'm with t5 on this one. If they said it's for a G-Body and it doesn't work, it's their error.

    Mild cam for stock engine

I'm not sure how it'll be with those heads. The 268 does really well with a Vortec-headed 350 though.

    coil spring isolators?

Mine had isolators. They were squished (maybe uneven too?) from the previous springs so I left them out, there was an isolator in the front and rear.

The shifter is still mechanical, I wasn't talking about the TV cable, those stopped at the end of '92.
