    3800 Series II

You could likely get a s/c kit for an f-body and do it that way shrug.gif

    3800 Series II

Only thing off the top of my head to fit a 60º bolt pattern is the 700R4 from the 2.8L S10. That and the T5s/4-speeds behind the 2.8.

    rear swaybars...

In a nutshell they help keep the car from rolling or "leaning" when you turn. The rear bars bolted to the lower control arms, 2 bolts per side, and had a little gusset that slid up into the arm so you didn't accidentally tighten the bolt too much and crush the arm. The rear bar is at the top...

    Wierd problem

X2 on the pigtail, I'd double check all the grounds for the wiring at the back. If you had one go bad it can make that happen.

    sbc vs. lsx

Build a mild SBC for it, put in a T5, and save up for an LS/T56 swap if you can muster that much $ ;)

    sbc vs. lsx

It's all in how soon you want to drive it  Just think in 15 years the LS will be the SBC of today ;)

    sbc vs. lsx

I'd go with the LS motor hands down if you're between that and building an SBC. You'll be close to 300hp easy with a stock 5.3, but you'll also probably spend more $ on the swap overall since the LS is a fairly new animal compared to a Gen 1 SBC.

    rear swaybars...

There are aftermarket ones out there, I just got a stock one from a junkyard, $40 beats $130+... I saw bars from Suspension Techniques (???), Hellwig, Hotchkis, and Global West in my 5-minute search :)

    RETAINING ELECTRONIC GAUGES

I'd done some more reading after posting this, found the correct info about the oil pressure, and corrected it now (going through my old posts :P). Sorry if someone read this & got mixed up. I may do this for power to the coil since I'm still running a mechanical pump.

    NEED ELECTRICAL HELP - SOLVED

Re: NEED ELECTRICAL HELP Give your brake light switch a look too. Won't make any difference concerning turn signals, but it's not hard to get to, probably wouldn't hurt to check it out while you're down there. Could also be the turn signal switch itself, which is inside the column, or...

I'd do 4ga. A lot more distance for that current to cover.

Some completed motor pics, not great but you get the idea...

Being a carb I don't see the issue... I think the black looks better in this case than braided anyway ;)

How to wire a latching relay

Relay Key Trigger button: arm button Reset button: kill switch Device: Starter, coil, fuel pump, etc. 0V: Ground Vs: 12v normally to the Trigger switch, inline with the coil or starter wire, ECM power, etc. ("Common") This would do well for confusing thieves. You can wire it a few different...
