Hey guys, just wondering on the oil capacity on a 70 12 bolt, im pretty sure is 2.5 quarts but not positive, also im using a GM posi so how many bottles of limited slip additive do i need, thanks

X2 on the question. I have installed my 12-bolt and I put one bottle of posi additive in but haven't added the gear oil yet. I also was wondering if it needed more than one bottle of posi additive.
1 bottle. the gm stuff is supposed to be better and i've heard of a local chrysler dealer buying it and using it instead :-$
If i remember right I used about 2 3/4 of a quart. But I have a full spool, I would just say to put in about 1 1/2 in then stick your pinky in the hole and check where the level is at.
