im just wondering if i could get a old 200r4 transmssion since they would the same length has th400. and just put th400 slip yoke on end and change the rear yoke for the 9"

I just swapped my 200-4R for a TH400 with a 4" tail. The cross member stayed in the same position and i used the same mount. My old drive shaft with the trans yoke attached measured 54" inches from the tip of the yoke to the center of the rear U-joint. Hope this helps. By the way, my old driveshaft is for sale.
