With the right backspacing yes. 15x8 with a 3.5 or 4" backspacing should work if you are running a stock width rear end in the car.

At one time i had Corvette Ralleys on my car, inwhich they have 4" backspacing with 275/60s. Fit and didnt rub.. Now with the new stance im sure they would rub the quarter lips. My car is tuckin a 255/70 now on a 7" wide wheel with 4" back spacing with no trimming or rubbing anywhere.

I have a question about this also. And I didn't want to start a new thread. I have an 85 cutlass 2 door. Will a 15x8 with 4.5 backspacing and 275/60 ET Street radials fit with no frame notch or spacer? And I want it to tuck in the back cause the car is lowered courtesy of the sagging rear springs. But I like the look. I have a stock rear end. Any help will be appreciated.

NO, it will rub on the frame.
