The stock cam in the L69 305 HO is something like 203/207* @ .050 but on a WIDE 115* LSA and the ramps are typical stock/lazy so they last a million years. Lift is right around .420" or so.
I've used a Summit K1102 (Edelbrock Performer) cam and it's fine. I would consider it just half a notch over stock, mostly because of the tighter 112* LSA, which really helps build more cylinder pressure and therefore more midrange torque. The K1103 is definitely a hotter cam (by more than 10* over stock) and will wake the motor up noticably, but with a slight loss of low end torque. I wouldn't use it if you're going to be pushing against a stock stall converter and 2.73 rear gears.
It's a lot easier to kill low end torque in a 305 than it is in a 350.
