Who out there has experience or runs a 4 series gear with a 3 speed. Preferably the th350? I plan on running 28" tall tires and have a th350. Car will be around town. No real cruising over 55mph. And ofcourse will see track time

Never ran the 1/4, I cross the beams at the end of the 1/8th at 6300 RPM's in 2nd gear, still got 1 gear left!   According to a chart I have my 8.0 in the 1/8th equates to 12.48ish in the 1/4.

I run 4.30's with a 28" tire and a TH350. Not too bad on the street. Definately not a highway set up. I usually keep my on road speeds around 45 MPH or so.

i have 4.11's with a turbo 350..not bad i cruise at 55 no problem..but wouldnt want to take along trip in it..i have driven it 30 miles one way..i think around 3k @55 also 275/60/15's..runs hard! the 750dp loves it lol..as do the gas stations!!..i plan on driving 70-80 miles round-trip to and from the track for the street bracket... i often wonder what difference a 3.73 gear would make..but i'm happy with the 4.11's

3.73 wouldn't make a lot of difference.
Scroll down to where it says "A MPH Calculator from RPM and Gearing" and input Info.

This doesn't allow for TC slippage so mph will be a little fast.
