8.5 diff

im looking for an 8.5 differentiel from a monte carlo 77 the guy tell that is 56" and i know my malibu 79 have 52" rear end it will fit ? or it will be too wide ?

You can use wheels with different backspacing, but personally I'd want a stock-width rear (which would be doable).
