9" Question

I ordered a QP 9" for my car with the disc brakes because I am at that stage of mock up and need it to finish out the rear suspension. My question is I am eventually going to put in a turbo lsx so until that point I don’t know what gear I will need so will it hurt the rear to roll the car around with no third member in the rear? Also to let the car sit on the rear, or will it hurt the bearings?

Get a piece of PVC that the axles can side into.

and that will support them? Thats what I was thinking of or maybe metal pipe but didn't want to mess up the splines

3rd members are cheap in you wrench yards or some one on here may have a stock 3rd

what about a mini spool since it would lock the axles together and only like 25 bucks shipped

Have you tried turning a car with a spool? What"s going to support the spool. Just spend a couple
of bucks on some PVC.

I have the pvc thats not a problem just wanted to make sure that would be good enough

A piece of PVC (long) w/ an ID as close as you can to the dia. of your shafts works great.
used it doing several mock-ups
